Stoned Poker ftw

Down in Brighton atm just chilling with my mate Cogs who is kinda playing poker for a living since he got made redundant last month. Its quite nice to actually sit in the same room with a fellow poker fish discussing hands and playing poker at the same time. I reckon if i did this more i would probably be more motivated and would also probably improve as a player just because of reg convo's about hands and strat etc. You read about online degens getting gaffs together and just grinding the tourns and cash games, it must help. We also had a few cheeky bifters last night and that made me feel really focused and zoned into the games i was playing. I used to be stoned practically every day of my life when i was at uni back in the day. All we used to do was get stoned tbh, that and play billions of games of ISS Pro Evo on the PS whilst monged out of my brains, get pissed, rump a few birds and hammer out a few intense days of study. It would have been wicked if online poker was around 8-9 yrs ago, i would have made a shit load of dosh. Anyway, i managed to make $600 last night which was ok ish given the games and hrs i played. I might have to get back on the gear, how much is a 8th of skunk these days? :-)

In other news, i just booked a cool little 4 night trip to Dublin in Oct to play in the International Poker Open. I'm flying/staying with 11 other fish from the Blonde forum. It only cost £160 for flights and accommodation, it should be a funny few days. I've also got the RaisetheRiver forum meet up at the end of the month at DTD in Nottingham which should also be a good crack. Suppose to be going away with the bird next week as well as its her b'day but nothing booked yet, were thinking either Turkey or Egypt atm, i guess i need to start grinding, sigh. Life's good, laters fish.
