Played a bit of PLO $50 hi/lo on PP this afternoon for a couple of hrs just kinda learning the game tbh and really enjoyed it. It's the second time i've played this varient of poker since Vegas and this time i won about $200 ish to add to the profit i made the other wk. I might play a bit more later if i can be bovved but i have just sent Kennl $600 to play for me so i might chill out instead lol. I've got a 10% share in just about everything he is playing today which i think includes 25 mtt's on FTP, 14 on Stars, 2 on PP the 25k on 888.com and the 100k on Everest. For those of you that don't know Kennl is one of the sickest MTT fish around. One timeeeeee pls Kenn!!!

Some Fun Bets

Went out with Greekstein on Saturday night to watch the London Masters at Wembley just for summat different to do and had a few small bets each game with that degenerate fish. Basically we backed one team every game taking alternative picks unless it was the team you support, me West Ham and Greekfish Chelski. If your team wins the match then you get £20 plus an additional £20 if one of your team members scores a hatrick. The only other bet was an extra 20 nugs if either Westham or Chelski win the whole tourn. We coulda/shoulda done a load more sports betting to make it more interesting but that was it. Greekstein is so fking sick that if he'd had his way one of us would prob been stuck £5-10k by the end of the night so we kept it friendly. I had first pick and choose QPR to beat Fulham and the R's pissed it. Next game Greek had Chelski by default and they got done and i made another £20. In game three i forget who was playing but my team were up 3-1 and it was looking like £60 in my pocket but it finished 3-3. It the 4th game however Greeks team Arsenal were winning 3-1 and Mickey Thomas was on a hatrick but i survived the Mickey T freeroll and the game ended 3 a piece. The 5th game was also a draw but i won the 6th and final group game to go up £60 on the night when my Hammers beat the Goons. The final was between West Ham and QPR and i was looking at another possible £40 for a hammers win and overall tourny winners to take a nice little ton off Greek. The Hammers had a 1-0 lead with a minute left but fked it up eventually losing on pens so there was £60 swing and Greek only had to pay up 40 notes. It was a decent little night and i even took part in the action myself in the first game when i got my head on the ball after it was booted into the crowd which was greeted by a round of applause and a few shouts of sign him up, i still got it babay! I decided not to play online poker over the weekend mainly because i was too busy/hungover but i am kinda looking forward to attacking the games next week.
After the footie Greek went to the Empire and i think he was a little pissed that i didnt go with him tbh. Although i did fancy 3 maybe 4 hrs of some live pokes i didnt fancy staying there until the early hrs of Sunday morning mainly because i had been ball bagged the night before so i still felt a bit raggy plus i had a few things to do on Sunday. On Friday night i went out with the bird and Scotch and his bird for some nice munch in some Spansh joint and then a few beers in a couple bars. However, i got a bit carried away and ended up drinking much more than i had planned, I always fkin do that, i just kinda forget. Beers galore, double vods and Redbull, Jager bombs, arrrgh i love it. Apparently Greekstein finshed in the Empire at 9am on Sunday morn winning £750 so it was all good, laters.

Poker Junkie

Alright fish, i've not really played much poker since my last blog entry (surprise surprise) but i have actually been seriously thinking about my future as a 'full time' poker donk. I am not gonna talk about it too much in this post but i have made some solid plans for the 1st July onwards which involve setting myself some realistic goals which i think/hope will substantially improve my motivation to play this sick game. Some people have said to me why wait? Why don't you start grinding now? I just want to make a fresh start at the beginning of July that's all, i reckon it will make me more focused. I know i have been guilty of making plenty of new promises to myself in the past but i feel really positive atm, time will tell if i can log a reasonable amount of hrs and make a decent profit. In the meantime i am just gonna continue to bum around for the 10 days playing the odd bit of pokes here and there :-)
Since my last post i've been sleeping alot, hammering the gym, spending some time with the missus and surfing the net for good quality free porn. Whilst browsing the great world wide web the other day i stumbled across this really good poker site that i've never seen before, check it out. Its provides some fkin wicked poker coverage and is a very complete site imo. It has full reviews of all the major sites listing there strengths and weaknesses aswell as giving info on all the potential rakeback deals and bonuses that they provide. It has a nice little friendly forum which boasts a decent number of members and discussions on stuff like the best value tournaments and hand analysis for example. Poker Junkie also has its very own blog which covers everything that's being talked about in the poker world although its obv not as good as my 'superb' poker blog.
The site will give ya loadsa current poker news, some well written poker strategy articles and has a bunch of poker tools to aid your game like odds calculators and hand evaluations for example. One of the best things about Poker Junkie imo are the poker school videos that some top online players have made for the site. This is prob my favourite section as i think its always interesting to watch and listen to other peoples views on the game and how they play even if you don't agree with what they are doing. Anyways that's enough of bigging up some random poker site, there is tons of other cool stuff on there which i haven't even touched on, click the link above and go see for yourselves, laters fishays!

I Almost Forgot....

...how sick MTT's are. After having a week off since my trip to Vegas :-) i thought i might as well play some poker online tonight. I only fired up 6 donkaments in total, the $109, $55 and $25 buyin deepstacks on ipoker, the 44 euro FO and 10 euro rebuy on Boss and the blast fest that is the 8 buck rebuy on PP. I was ticking along nicely and was approaching the money bubble in 5 of my 6 games when i preceded to lose every major fooking hand when i don't think i was ever worse than 50/50, sighhhhh. I final table bubbled the 44 euro and pretty much bubbled the $55 on ipoker, bricked a million outs in the 100 for decent chips, lost a key flip in the 10 euro rb and min cashed the $8r in something like 30/450 ish when my AK obv can't hold versus A8. I know it's a tiny sample of games and all standard bullshizz, and its not like i moan much about poker on this blog (prob because i don't ever play) but ffs, jhgfgwasdfgh.

The only other poker i've played since Vegas is a couple of shitty $26 45 manners losing a tiny amount and some mirco stake PLO hi/lo on PP winning a whooping 50 doll! I don't know whether i will ever get back to playing a decent amount of hours tbh. Maybe if my life roll starts dwindling at an alarming rate I'll be forced to log some hours and play more Texas Hold'em online. It's stupid really because the thought of working full time again disgusts me lol. Hopefully i can try and grind out some $4-6k months again, i might start a complete fresh on the 1st of July and put the previous 6 months behind me. I've got a few fingers in a few pies atm which make me some much needed dosh but if i don't start playing poker soon i will deffo be near broke within the next 12-15 months esp if i go Oz and NZ at the end of the year.

I'm probably gonna go away again next month actually as i need a holiday! It will only be 4-5 nights in somewhere like Rome with the missus as its her b'day next month so i said that i will treat her. I spent most of last week with her actually which was cool. However, its kinda dawned on me recently that i am in a serious ish relationship atm, fooking hell i thought to myself i don't think i am ready to grow up just yet i'm 'only' 29 yrs old, i'm still in my prime babay. Being in a relationship has also kinda put the travelling plans on hold atm as well. The new plan is to go to OZ in Nov and stay out there for 5 months incorporating the Aussie Millions into the trip then do NZ for one month. I'll rent my gaff out for the full 6 months then return to Watford for a month before going back to Vegas for a month for the WSOP. Jeez, i better start making some dosh. My travelling buddy Scotch has gone and got himself in deep ish with some Polish bird as well plus that ginger plum is redic skint as usual so we'll see what happens in the next month or two. The thing is I'm not sure i wanna be in this country anymore, its fkin boring and i don't need to be here really.

This week has been proper shit so far, there's nothing to do its sooo boring. I've been trying to get back into the gym routine this week has i haven't really bothered much since before Vegas. I actually noticed that i have put on over half a stone since my world series ventures. I blame them fat bastards Animal and Azimut tbh, Azi practically shoots his load whenever he passes a steak house and that fish Animal loves his munch even more. Having said that i don't think the regular double portions of steak and mash in the Luxor buffet helped too much :-)

Scotch has been getting me into his new gym routine, the Hugh Jackman (who plays Wolverine) workout. He's fucking obsessed that fish, its an addiction with him. He freaks out if he doesn't workout for 2 straight days and he's even started to freak out whenever he doesn't eat healthy meals. Him and his missus knocked me up some munch the other day, well when i say munch all i got was this bowl of rabbit food with these minuscule bits of chicken, it was basically a bowl of leaves. Scothay WTF is this mate, its horrible? It's good for ya Jones, Hugh Jackman eats it. Fuck that prick Scotch, i don't wanna look like Wolervine anyways it tastes like shit! Right, that's enough waffle from me, time for some shut eye, see ya fish.

Home Shit Home

The last 4 days of my Vegas trip went waaaay too quick and now im back in shitty Watford. After my last post i played some $2/5 in the Venetian and $1/2 in the Mirage with little success. I also had a couple of nights out on the beers with Animal and Azi drinking in a bunch bars in Mandalay Bay, Treasure Island, Bellagio, MGM Grand, Planet Hollywood etc. Whilst we were boozing we also played a few hands on the Excalibaur poker pro tables and some $1/3 in Ceasar's. That muthalicker Animal stacked me once in Excalibaur on a 973 board when i called his re-raise all in with just Q9 and he got there with 86. The bastard also bluffed with off 88 pre flop when the pissed cunt open blasted 300 doll in Ceasars after a few limpers and i got scared like a little pussy and that fooker tabled 63, such nitaments. Also had one kinda surreal moment in the Bellagio watching Durrrr, Antonius and Farha playing nosebleeds limits in Bobbys Room. Like i said before its strange seeing all the big name players in Vegas but i think i have gotten over it now and the novelty has slightly worn off. [ ] I'll sure be back next year to bust em all oop! The only thing i do regret about the whole WSOP experience was not getting a snap of me with the Liebert, it would have been such a comedy pic plus it would have provided me with some excellent wank material for at least a good few weeks, sigh nevermind.

It feels horrible being back right now, i've just been alseep for the last 20hrs or so, arrrghhhh loiutfdregthukiujhuytedx. On reflection though I'm really glad i went to Vegas and experienced the WSOP for the first time and I'm pleased i played in at least one event even though i was shit (sorry all backers). I've got the taste for it now and my new plan is too perhaps build my online roll back up to a decent amount then maybe go to Australia and New Zealand as planned but for 3-4 months instead of 6 months, incorporating the Aussie Millions into my trip. I'll be renting my gaff out for at least 6 months so i may return and either stay at my parents place in Watford for a few months or crash in there apartment in Spain and just hammer it online on my jack jones before returning to Vegas for the 2010 WSOP for about 4-6 weeks. Thats just a rough idea atm but its sounds pretty good to me as i read it back!! It all depends if i can play the volume online and make enough money obv. In fact i really do need to start playing a decent amount soon otherwise i'll be busto within 12 months and probs job hunting within 6 months, FUCK THAT! The thought of going back to a full time job would kill me. This is why i am such a knob for not grinding it out online in the last 6 months or so. Even though playing poker for a living sucks cocks and gets boring sometimes it still beats being plugged into the Matrix with all the other 9-5 fishays and doing a real job. Right that's it im off, i don't even no if im making any sense atm, my head feels a bit scrambled tbh, must be the jet lag. Laters fish.

EDIT: OMG, i almost forgot one of the funniest parts of my trip. On the very first night i received a text message from my housemate Scotch to say that he'd locked himself out. I nearly pissed myself laughing and obv took a good 24 hrs to reply to the dick heads message just to let him stew for a bit. I didn't have the heart to leave it any longer even thou i should have let the plum rough it for a full 10 days. Having said that Scotch would have probably done summat stupid like bash my front door down so i got my old man to sort the ginger fish out with the spare key the next day, what a plonker!

Vegas So Far....

Sighhhh, sorry peeps but i busted about 4hrs into day 1. Started with 4.5k and peaked at 6.5k before things went Pete Tong. I had my new best mate 'Fast' Freedy Deeb sat to my immediate left and he was absolutely tez, i couldn't believe it. At one point he sat there folding in the blinds when he was down to 2-3 bigs, it amazed me. He then got very lucky and quadroopled his 1 and a half bb stack lol before continuing to fold his blinds to raises with like 3-4 bigs. I was chatting away to the fish and twice he showed me his had in the bb and then sb when facing a raise from ep which were A10 and A8 and preceded to fold!!! WTF??? wp Fred lol. I got short and was then moved to another former champions table 'Captain' Tom McEnvoy, who i think shipped the WSOP ME winner invitational freeroll thing the night before for what i think was for 1.9 million, not sure? Tom was short like myself with about 9 bigs playing 100/200 and then decide to cold call a 1k pre-flop raise and fold to a c-bet. FML?? Are you serious??? wp Captain. This type of bullshit gave me a glimpse into how poor some of the old guard really are. There is sooo much value in Vegas, its unreal you just need to play alot and run semi good.

I didnt play my best tbh and probably played too tight. I nearly shipped all my money in the first 15 minutes with just Ad9d. Basically Deeb turned up 10 mins late and when he sat down he immediately started to raise 80% of pots. In one hand there were bout 3 limpers playing 25/50 so i also peeled and the deebster makes it 300. UTG who i had already identified as being pretty solid made it 1.1k to go. I was sure that Deeb was weak and just trying to bully etc and also i kinda knew that the geezer UTG knew this hence his limp raise to 1.1k but i just didn't have the heart to reraise/shove my raggy ace. Deeb folded and UTG showed J10, i fucking knew it. My read was perfect but i didnt have the bottle, sigh. Maybe i will do when i gain more experience playing in this type of an event. My biggest pot was when i held kk and limped as did a few others before some shit geezer who i later lost a decent pot too when he cold called my open from ep out of the bb with 45 and didnt give up on a A5A board made it 500 to go pre flop. I made it 1.6k leaving myself 2.2k behind and he called lol. Flop was a nice 8J8 and i was tempted to check to the donk but instead c bet and he mucked. The biggest pot i lost was with k6 when i opened, sb defend and check called my c bet on a AJx board 2 spades. Turn came another ace, check check and then i hit a king on the river calling a 1.1k bet hoping for a missed draw which was probably a mistake on my part that caused a fair amount of damage to my stack. I eventually boosted by open shoving 1700 playing 100/200 with 44 and losing a flip vrs AK. Thankyou to the 12 people who backed me for a total of almost 60% i genuinely appreciate the opportunity. I have definitely got the taste for it now thou and hopefully i can also regain some of my passion for online poker. I wanna come out here for the whole series next year and just chill in an apartment off the strip with a bunch of mates/fellow poker fish. I've spoken to a few people who are doing that this year and provided that you can get together 7-8 people then you can stay in a lush mansion for like $500 per month!!

My trip to Vegas this year is very different to my previous holiday here, i knew it would be. Last time me and my mates got ball bagged almost every night in various bars and clubs etc plus we also did the tourist thing during the day visiting different casino's and going on the rides and to the Canyon etc. This time its been a much more chilled out trip and around 70-80% poker based but that's all good. My luck has been mixed thus far winning a small profit playing cash but obviously losing in the mtt's. I've played 1/2 at the Luxor, Mandalay Bay and Excalibur, 1/3 at Caesars and 2/5 at the Rio. I also played a $160 tourn at Caesars busting 25/94 in the usual redic fashion.

The Convention Centre at the Rio where the WSOP is held is pretty electric. Its quite surreal seeing all the well known pro's just walking around like Phil (the giant) Hellmuth, Scotty Nguyen and The DevilFish for example. I've even bumped into the goddess that is the Liebert a couple of times but just didn't have the bollocks to use my 'smooth' moves and chirps her up. She was looking hot as always btw. I had quite a comedy night the other day actually when myself Azi an Animal got semi ball bagged drinking White Russians, RumJungles, Mojito's and Vodka redbulls first in some cocktail bar and then all sat round the same poker tarb playing 1/2 at the Mandalay Hotel. It was good fun and we managed to get a straddle going on every hand aswell. I think i finished a small winner before heading off to the Rio in my slightly mezzed up state to reg for the $1.5k. Whilst there i kinda lost my bearings and ended up stumbling into the Stud event and saw Bennaymine sat with Elezra and Harman etc. It took with a few minutes to actually realise i was surrounded by fish like Negreanu, Ivey, Ferguson and Greenstein plus a shit load of other famous fish. Apparently i wasn't even supposed to be there and after about 5 minutes of walking around like a pissed twat i was politely told by the tournament directer to fook off! I have four more days and nights out here and ideally i wanna play a load more poker maybe at the Wynn and The Venetian and perhaps one more tourn at the Bellagio if things go well cash wise. I love Vegas and wish i was here longer.

Quick mention of my mate Animal who finished 4th in the $1.5k PLO Hi/lo event for what was about 74k, mbn. Me and Az railed the donk at the final tarb, just a shame he couldn't ship the bracelet. Well done you lucky bastard! Laters fish.

I'll do a Vegas report when i get back because i can't be bovved atm. I'm probably playing the $1.5k 3 day Event 7 on Tues and i am selling some % in myself for anyone willing to take a punt. Its $15=1% etc etc on a 50/50 plus stake back. I've sold about 30% ish so far.
