Settling In

So far we've not done too much really so if people are hoping to read stories about me drunkenly rumping lady boys in Patong then you're gonna be disappointed, there's plenty of time for that :) Also, the weather has been pretty shit because we are in the middle of the wet season atm so the area is pretty quiet too and probs will be until November time. I'm in no rush thou as I've been here before plus this is kind of a different trip to other travels I've been on so far. I need to work/play poker at the same time. I'm here for at least 6 months so there is more than enough time for me to do everything i want and more ;)

My New Home

First blog post all the way from Phuket complete with a quick video tour of our new gaff. I think the only reason i got the master room was because Cos spotted a tiny Geeko lizard when we were being shown around and the fish abs shit himself! He's scared of everything that boy. The other day he was on the back of my scootay and i slowed down next to some wild dogs just to shit him up abit ;) and he was like arrrrgh go faster Amatay their gonna attack us go faster. Pretty sure its the only time he's told me to go faster on the scootay, usually its sloooow down Amatay, watch out for the bump, slow, slow etc etc. Driving past a piece of wood yesterday he shat himself because he thought it was a snake, lolz. Speaking of snakes the greek fish went for a dip in the pool the other night and snap got out about 2 seconds later claiming he couldnt see in the water and that he was worried a water snake might grab him. lol, straight up, no jokes. The fish freaks out at everything! Just a minute ago we emptied the bin and there was a lizard in there. I've never the fish run so fast in my life. He shot out the door screaming like a lil girl. Amatay Archives #4 - My First Month as a 'Pro'

Scanning my previous posts last week when i clicked on January 2008 and came across 18 posts from that month alone! I used to update this thing tons back then plus i got a shit load of comments and i also really enjoyed blogging. I quit my job in Dec 2007 so this was my first month as a full time fish. Some of them are quite funny imo, its a pretty childish style of writing i have and its always strange for me to read back over these posts. I was a cash game fish back then and my style of play and deffo my mindset has changed alot since. Anyways, feel free to take a peak at what i was doing 3 and a half yrs ago, lolz.

Moving On
